This was the view from my bedroom balcony for close to two weeks. Majestic.

In the afternoon of April 24, we arrived in Stroncone, which will be our home base for the next 10 days. Below is a photograph of the San Giovanni church tower with the Apennine mountains in the background during the late afternoon light. Looking to the left, one can see the entire valley — Narni, Terni, Spoleto, and on a clear day all the way to Assisi. Needless to say, we have a great view every morning. More updates soon.
