Dominica styles itself as ‘The Nature Island of the Caribbean’. A rugged, volcanic island to the north of Martinique, it’s known more for its rain-forest, rivers and waterfalls than its beaches. These photos were taken on Dominica’s windward side and give some indication of the beautiful light available to the photographer as the day progresses from dawn through to a moonlit night. As always a huge thanks to Eric for his guidance on the use of Vari-ND filters and all of the cumulative advice that continues to improve my photography.
