It is the morning of April 22 and we have touched down in Rome. We will be in Rome thru the morning of the 24th, after which we pick up our car rental and head north east through the Sabine Hills and into southern Umbria where we will make Stroncone our home for the next 10 days. From Stroncone we will make day trips to parts of Tuscany as far north as Siena, many cities and villages throughout Umbria and take the time to explore the pristine and undiscovered region of Sabina just to the south of Umbria. I have plotted a couple of maps below that will assist you in following us throughout the course of this trip.
